David McCrum

David is the Managing Director of ams: and has been at the fore front of the business leading by example for 23 yrs and in the industry for over 27 years. Without sounding cliché he has a real passion for mortgages which is clearly illustrated by the time served helping his clients over the years. He is very lucky to be surrounded by a great team of advisors and administration staff where they ALL think outside of the box to assist their clients .

David’s a family man and a father of 2 grown up boys one who has just left University and the other just starting so no longer a taxi service with lots more free time on this hands when not at ams:

When not leading the team at ams: David is found out with the office dog Murphy around his local park at the crack of dawn (unfortunately Murphy can't tell the time) or out on his road bike around the roads of Warwickshire or hurtling down a mountain on his skis (not always gracefully).

Luke Taylor

Luke has been working within the Mortgage sector for 7 years and at ams: for 2 yrs and brings with him a wealth of experience initially from estate agency and new build sites now working as a specialist mortgages Mortgage Broker ( which is essence is a problem solver ) If Luke can’t help it’s not possible !

Luke is thorough, efficient and always thinks outside of the box to ensure he finds you the best solution for your mortgage needs.

Whilst working within the mortgage sector Luke has helped 1000’s of clients by understanding both the client’s needs and the lender’s criteria to ensure the perfect mortgage is recommended. Check out his reviews on Trust pilot – they speak volumes

Outside of work you will likely find him on an adventure with his Cocker Spaniel, Buddy or travelling with his girlfriend to exotic places . When not working or indeed travelling you’ll find him playing golf or watching rugby down his local .

Claire Picken

Claire is our Senior Case Manager working in this field for over 15 year and therefore has a wealth of experience to offer all our clients at ams: , starting in a small estate agent processing mortgage applications, then progressing to managing a large team of dedicated case handlers. She is the go to person for ALL your processing queries ably supported by her team .

Claire is articulate, caring and understanding , recognising the complexity of her cases she deals with on a daily basis . Her job with her team is to get your application to offer in the shortest possible time.

She will liaise with lenders on behalf all our clients . She prides herself in progressing all cases to full mortgage offer at breakneck speeds.

Claire juggles a full pipeline of pre offer cases which can exceed 120 applications in any one month. Alongside running the mortgage processing team, ensuring ams: provides all our customers the excellent customer service we are known for, which is documented in our Trustpilot reviews…. Take a look

Claire has also been known to get employee of the month for going above and beyond

When Claire is not at work she enjoys taking time out to go on lots of varied holidays around the world and when she is here she can be found looking after her grandchildren or spending time with her 3 grown up children.

Shanita Nevers

Shanita has worked all aspects of mortgage administration for over 12 years,

Her experience has led her to what she is passionate about ……..supporting her customers throughout their journey at ams: from application through to completion. Liaising with lenders, solicitors, estate agents and builders. Making sure completions happen in the quickest possible time

Her job is to take the stress out of moving house or re-mortgaging a property. Offering A1 customer service. Take her look at her reviews on Trust pilot from existing customers – they say the same.

When not at work office Shanita is an unpaid taxi driver for her daughter’s busy social life …….. she has been known to do some Street dancing in her day too.

Cara Lawlor

Cara has trained in all aspects of finance administration for 20 years.

One of her main roles at ams: is the accounts … she looks after the money making sure all fees are received and paid on time.

She also supports the cases managers with applications through to completion. Cara is very passionate about the work she does at ams: and loves to help clients in securing their new home.

Cara also oversees compliance at ams: making sure its carried out correctly , so in summary an integral part of ams: who can multi task several roles at the same time …..this keeps Cara very busy form day to day just as she is at home being a mom of 2 and taxi driver to their very busy social lives.

Murphy

Head of security at ams:

Murphy sits at the head of our office working a hybrid role from both home and the office.

When he does manage to get into work can be found flat out………. on his back on his favourite bed near the radiator.

At lunch time he tends to wake up and visit each ams: team members desk to help them out with lunch time activities before his lunch walk then resuming the position back near the radiator till the end of the day.

Outside of work loves to get up early and hassle the boss for walks generally from 5.30am onwards .. … he is still unable to tell the time and has no inclination to learn either.
